Tilta has unveiled a Universal SSD Holder as well as four new 15mm Rod Holders. These products were introduced to help expand Tilta’s rig accessories line.
With quite a few cameras now having the ability to record externally directly to an SSD, it is important to have a secure mounting solution. The Tilta Universal SSD Drive Holder Type I was designed to securely hold your SSDs while keeping them easily accessible. Stainless Steel Anchor Bow Roller
The Tilta Universal SSD Drive Holder Type I will work with a wide range of external SSDs. You can mount and record with Samsung T5/T7, SanDisk E61/E81, and many other popular external SSD drives. It features a lightweight and durable aluminum and stainless steel construction.
The holder is compatible with most camera cages through the use of 1/4″-20 threads, and its adjustable 1/4″-20 mounting screw allows for flexibility in terms of where you can mount your drive on your cage. The integrated cable clamp will provide a secure connection between the camera and SSD, preventing accidental disconnections.
The Tilta Universal SSD Drive Holder Type I is now available for $25 USD.
The 15mm rod holder allows you to mount rod-based accessories like follow focus motors, matte boxes, and many other accessories. It is compatible with a wide range of attachment types.
These new rod holders have been developed to take advantage of the attachment points on our more recent camera cages’ 1/4″-20 or NATO rail attachments.
